TAC provides classes on textile arts for students of all ages. Our education model is based on experiential learning with a focus on skills rather than finished products. At TAC our goal is to provide empowerment through knowledge and create a collaborative and inspiring community environment.

Types of Classes We Offer

TAC at Home

Learn new textile techniques from home, through online workshops of different durations. Shorter 2-session classes, include demos and Q&A; Textile Immersions, include 4 demo session + critique and a studio visit with a textile artist.

4 & 5 Week Classes

Twelve to fifteen hours of skill-building classes over several weeks in our Brooklyn Studio. Classes run on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Students have free access to Open Studio for the duration of their class and one week after.

Full Day Intensives

One or two day-long intensives, held on Saturdays and/or Sundays from 11am to 5pm at the Brooklyn Studio. Want to put your new knowledge to practice? Students have free access to Open Studio for up to one week after class.

After Workshop

High quality, hands-on classes, at low cost and low commitment. Each workshop is a 2-hour, project-based class designed for all skill levels. After Workshops do not come with free Open Studio time.
