In order to help the environment, we’ve ceased to have written consent for Media Release. By accepting TAC’s Media Release at registration, you give Textile Arts Center the right to use images of you, or your work, purely for publicity, promotional and marketing materials relating to TAC programming. Your name will never be used, unless we specifically ask for your permission.

If, for any reason, you feel very strongly against having any images used, please contact us in writing or via email ([email protected]) following your registration, so that we may keep it on file.

For all Adult & Youth cancellations, we are unable to refund processing fees collected at the time of registration by our third-party class registration software, Active. Any credit or refunds will be for the cost of the class only.

Credits issued for Youth and Adult Programs are not eligible to refund.

Self-cancellation and self-transfer options are available through your Active account with the policies below. If you have any questions email [email protected]

After School and Mini Camps

• Cancellations
  • Over 4 weeks notice will receive full refund or credit. A $25 admin fee will apply to refunds.
  • Between 2-4 weeks notice will receive 75% refund or 90% credit.
  • Less than 2 weeks there will be no refund or credit.
• Transfers
  • Customers can self-transfer to another session up to 14 days before the start of original registered session.

Summer Camp

Cost for camp includes a 50% non-refundable deposit at booking.

• Cancellations
  • Over 4 weeks notice will receive 50% refund or credit.
  • Less than 4 weeks notice will receive 50% credit only.
• Transfers
  • Customers can self-transfer to another session up to 14 days before the start of original registered session.

Birthdays

• Cancellations
  • Cancellations must be made 3 weeks in advance. Failure of notice will result in loss of 50% deposit.
  • Less than 2 weeks notice will will result in full loss of deposit ($550).

For scheduled special events, demos, lectures, and workshops: give 2 weeks notice in order to receive a full refund or credit.

Special events/ workshops, and gift certificates are non-transferable. No refunds will be given on Gift Certificates. Gift Certificates are valid for (1) one year from the date of purchase.

Double check your calendar before signing up for a class! Our small team works very hard throughout the year to schedule each class and coordinate with our students. When you register for a spot in one of our classes, you are reserving a seat and committing to join us for that date and time. If you need to cancel a class you’ve signed up for, note the following policies:

Course Horse students will need to contact Course Horse directly about cancellations or refunds. TAC cancellation policy will apply.

Classes do not include individual make up sessions—though you may be able to schedule time with your instructor based on their availability. We are unable to pro-rate classes or refund students who cannot to make it to class. If you have to miss a class, you are responsible for catching up during Open Studio time.

All discounts and coupons are non-transferable, limited to single use, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer.

During promotional periods listed on the website: there will be no retroactive discounts or refunds. If you sign up online without calling in, you will not receive the discount. Classes of the Week discount will only be honored if this promotion is going on. TAC reserves the right to stop and start this discount system, and is subject to change.

The Textile Arts Center reserves the right to refuse service, to charge students for damaged studio property, and is not responsible for students’ lost or damaged property
