Join Mr. Ooe and the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership for a workshop exploring Nishijin-ori, a traditional Japanese textile produced in the Nishijin district in Kyoto, that uses many different types of colored yarns to weave into decorative designs.

In this workshop, participants will learn dyeing techniques of this textile tradition, which is considered the most important stage in the Nishijn-ori production, while creating their own beautifully dyed silk scar!
