      Studio Class Rules + Regulations

      With your class registration comes the ability to use Open Studio time to work on class projects outside of class. Open Studio times are listed on our website calendar and you must follow the sign-up policies in order to use the studio. Students are only entitled to use the studio free of charge for the duration of the course, and for project directly related to class material.

      Classes start and end promptly. You will be asked to begin clean up 15 minutes prior to class end time. Please do not show up more than 10 minutes early for class -- you may not start work on projects until class time has begun.

      If you have scheduled to meet with your instructor regarding your class outiside of class time, you must notify the Textile Arts Center office for approval.
      All work, burned screens included, will be discarded if not claimed within one week of your class end date.


      Media Release

      In order to help the environment, we've ceased to have written consent for Media Release, except in the case of children.

      By accepting our policies at registration, you give Textile Arts Center the right to use images of you, or your work, for publicity, promotional and marketing materials. Your name will never be used, unless we specifically ask for your permission.

      If, for some reason, you feel very strongly against having any images used, please contact us in writing or via email following your registration, so that we may keep it on file.

      Discounts + Coupons

      All discounts and coupons are nontransferable, limited to single use, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer.
      		 


      Cancellation + Refund Policy

      All classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met at least 24 hours prior to class start date. You will receive a reminder email one week before your class indicating that it will run, or if it is in danger of cancellation. If you receive this warning email, you will receive a second email the day before your class indicating if it will run. If you class is cancelled, you will be given the option of full refund or credit to apply toward a future course.

      For Student Cancellations:

      Adult and Kids Courses; Summer and Mini Camps: 1 month notice is required for full refund or credit; less than one month is 75% refund or credit; less than one week there will be no refund or credit. Requests for any refund must be done via email to info@textileartscenter.com.

      For scheduled special events, demos, lectures, and workshops: please give 2 weeks notice in order to receive a full refund.

      All classes, workshops, special events, and gift certificates are non-transferable. No refunds will be given on Gift Certificates. Gift Certificates are valid for (1) one year from the date of purchase.

      Class Make-Up Policy

      Classes do not usually have Make-Up sessions -- though you may be able to schedule with your instructor a time that they can offer you a little extra time. If you have to miss a class, you are responsible for getting the information that will catch you up on missed information.


      The Textile Arts Center reserves the right to refuse service, to charge student for damaged studio property, and is not responsible for students' lost or damaged property.
