Monday Morning Inspiration: Sharon Etgar

Typically, thanks to the internet, I find a lot of my inspiration via tumblr and the blackhole of clicking every interesting link…until I can’t even remember where I started. Take Sharon Etgar for instance: I have no recollection of how I stumbled upon her artwork, BUT I do know that it is fantastic and you should check it out -

I am really digging her use of color blocking and overlapping of flat surfaces to create subtle texture. This translates really well into her thread pieces:
