Francesca Capone

Francesca Capone is an artist and designer working in textiles, visual poetry and graphic design. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Cross-Disciplinary Studies at Brown University and she received a BFA in Textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design.  She has had solo exhibitions at the Textile Arts Center and End of Century. Francesca has developed textiles for Marc by Marc Jacobs, Threeasfour, Coach, Thakoon, M.Patmos and is part of the print collective Prince Ruth. She has designed books and graphics for The Greenhorns and Joshua Abelow, and is the author of ‘Weaving Language’ which is currently available at McNally Jackson, St.Marks Bookshop and Art Metropole. Next summer she will be a resident artist at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.

Lenora Rigoni

Lenora Rigoni is a recent graduate from Oberlin College. With an art history and studio art background, she is now putting her education to use as an intern at Alexander Gray Associates. Once a marketing intern at Textile Arts Center and a craftswoman, she loves looking for new designers for inspiration. As a guest blogger, she is excited to share her findings with people who get excited about handmade work as much as she does.
