Fall Into Knits: Inspirations

Now that it’s finally feeling more like fall, it’s time for sweaters! Or maybe a ‘miner’s vest’ from Rose Tung,

Pieces that are knit on the round like the vest above and circle and chain link scarves from the spotted fawn below are seamless.

Knitting a seamless sweater might take a tad more time but fear not, We are offering a Seamless Sweater class this November at TAC.

code: NYC-KNIT-BAS-M-1111 / $250.00

4 Session(s)

Mon  11:00AM – 2:00PM,  November 7 – December 5

No class 11/21
Class Details: Click Here
Instructor(s): Mark Schuyler

Pre Requisite: Students should have some basic knowledge of knitting (casting on & off, knit & purl). Materials are not included in this course so its best students procure their own needles (between #6 and #8 circular needles, either 24″ or 36″) and a corresponding yarn of your choice. For the first day of class, please knit a gauge swatch of 6×6″ in stockinette.

Here are some more knit projects that I keep posted around as inspiration. Definitely worth it.

Annie Larson’s cardigans definitely show their seams … and stripes, checks, dots and colors.

OK technically not a sweater but how cool is designer Claire-Anne O’Brien‘s knit stool!

To go with some table leg warmers?

See you in the round!
