Artist Highlights: Natalie Stopka

We know we have the best interns out there, but we want you to know them as well. Especially when their work is as beautiful as the work of Natalie Stopka.

When Natalie isn’t busy busy at TAC helping with the Sewing Seeds project, she is a resident at the Center for Book Arts, and she creates and binds amazing books.

Natalie’s art books are full of details to be discovered  and much appreciated by textile lovers, such as woven and embroidered spines and covers, vintage lace and hand-dyed textiles and threads.  And since books are meant to be hold and hand-manipulated, I love how textural and tactile her books her…

Natalie got her BFA in Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design and has exhibited her work several times across the US. You can see more of her work by visiting her website or her Etsy store.
